Yoga is based on the ancient wisdom about 7 main energy centres in our body. Modern psychology combined with yogic science has interesting findings on how the chakras develop during early life and childhood and how imbalances in different chakras create difficulty in different areas of our life if they stay unaddressed.
In this 7 week course we will look at each energy centre, learn how to assess imbalances and learn simple yogic techniques to balance each individual chakra. Balancing the chakras leads to a greater sense of health and wellbeing as well as personal transformation as it leads us to a deeper understanding of ourselves. The classes contain information, yogic movement, breath-work, relaxation, meditation and sound.

Dedicated to the science of yoga and personal transformation towards our true radiant soul self Sophia is passionate about sharing the powerful tools she learned. She has studied yoga, mindfulness and yoga therapy with a number of experienced teachers and has extensive teaching experience in the yoga that goes beyond just a good stretch.
